~*~black women and asian men, forever at the bottom of the dating totem pole~*~
The Wretched of the Earth: fuckyeahcracker: native-detroiter: satanic2chainz: wearebecauseiam: I... -
I just wanna say that if someone made a whitepeoplemeet.com and had tv commercials for it, we’d be called racist lol.
its called okcupid, march.com, etc. there are white people on black people meet. no one’s gonna arrest you if you sign up.Yup, here are some studies on white racist dating sites
- On Dating Sites: Fewer than 7% of men stated a racial preference for Black women. Okcupid proclaims explicitly based on messaging patterns “racism is alive and well”
- Dating sites are not PoC friendly hence safe spaces such as “Blackpeoplemeet”
Clearly there already are websites for only white people when 93% of users don’t want to date Black women :)
Overwhelming majority of American dating sites proves people do NOT like to date POC (TIME article), specifically BLACK WOMEN AND ASIAN MEN
(information from knowledgeequalsblackpower)
Try again, white people. Just like with the BET whine y’all do, you don’t realize you own and dominate everything, you just don’t call it “white” whatever— you don’t have to. Racists stats prove it.

Teen’s invention could charge your phone in 20 seconds
(Photo: Intel)
Waiting hours for a cellphone to charge may become a thing of the past, thanks to an 18-year-old high-school student’s invention. She won a $50,000 prize Friday at an international science fair for creating an energy storage device that can be fully juiced in 20 to 30 seconds.
Everybody, remember this face.
Remember this name.
If this becomes a commonly used & highly lauded discovery, at some point a White guy is going to take credit, even if he has to word it like “Improved upon a previous…”
No no no
Fuck that guy.
Remember this brown girl.

there is nothing romantic about
- not knowing you’re beautiful
- loving someone until they learn to love themselves
please stop romanticizing low self esteem.
it’s one thing to love a person who happens to have low self esteem
it’s another thing to frame low self esteem as a desirable trait.
i understand what this post is saying totally but i don’t really think the second example is negative at all? if you look at the lyrics for the song they’re really positive and are about being supportive and loving towards someone who has felt a lot of pain. i don’t see that as negative. the one direction song does kind of frame insecurity and low self-esteem as “cute” and desirable but i’m not seeing that with ne-yo’s song.
